Preparation
Combine all the ingredients in a small pot. Place over heat and bring to a boil, stirring. If you prefer a thicker texture, keep cooking a little longer; if you like it softer, turn off the heat right away.
If it dries out too much, don’t worry—just add a splash of water and keep stirring over low heat.
Pour the porridge into a bowl.

To make the caramelized bananas, slice a banana into thick rounds.
In a non-stick pan, heat a drizzle of coconut oil and lay the banana slices on top. Don’t touch them until they’re well caramelized (you’ll know from the smell!).
Flip them over, finish cooking, then add them to the porridge.
If you like, you can also add nuts such as hazelnuts, walnuts, or almonds.
And for an extra treat, top with a square of Choko Loco bars or some finely chopped dark chocolate!
