
INGREDIENTS
5 large eggs at room temperature
50g melted and cooled butter
35g Live Better coconut flour
20g almond or hazelnut flour
30g Live Better cocoa powder
1-2g baking powder
80g eritritolo fine Live Better
50g roughly chopped walnuts or pecans
OPTIONAL: Orange zest
PROCEDURE
1. Preheat the oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF).
2. Combine the eggs and the cooled butter in a bowl or in a stand mixer (otherwise, the butter will cook the eggs).
3. In another bowl, combine the dry ingredients: sift together the coconut flour, almond flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and erythritol and mix with a spoon.
4. Add the dry ingredients, a little at a time, to the egg and butter mixture and mix well until smooth.
5. Add the roughly chopped walnuts, orange zest, and Mix
6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
7. Pour the batter into a square or rectangle shape, leveling it with a spoon to a height of about 1 cm.
8. Bake for about 20 minutes, until the surface appears firm and cooked through. Don't overcook, otherwise the brownies will lose their softness.
9. Let cool for 10 minutes, then cut into squares and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
