Delicious goodness

Typical Piedmontese sauce for dipping raw or cooked vegetables. Tradition has it served hot in classic fujot with a candle to keep it warm. I find it delicious even at room temperature. Original recipe by star chef Renato Dominici. Boneless.

How it is consumed

It is eaten by dipping various types of vegetables, tradition would have those typical of Piedmontese vegetable gardens: hunchbacked cardoons from Nice or spadoni cardoons from Chieri, raw peppers, roasted and skinned peppers, pickled and rasped peppers, Jerusalem artichokes, green, white and red cabbage, white hearts of escarole and endive, fresh leeks, long spring onions, white turnips, baked red beets, boiled cauliflower, boiled cabbage hearts, baked onions, white potatoes boiled in their skins, apples, roasted or fried pumpkin slices, slices of hot, roasted or fried polenta. 
 
At one time only hunchbacked cardoons, typical of Nizza Monferrato, Jerusalem artichokes and peppers preserved in the rasp (what was left over from the process of vinifying the grape cluster) were used.
 
Interesting idea: traditionally, farmers scrambled eggs into any leftover bagna cauda.

PLEASE NOTE: Our products are very stable because they are in powdered form and contain mainly saturated fats, which are naturally very stable. We have tested many of them even more than one year past their TMC date, and they were still in perfect condition, including coconut milk, cocoa powder, erythritol, and arrowroot.

How to tell if a product is still good? Very simple!
Just take a look: are there any signs of mold, insects, or anything unusual?
Smell: smell?
If the answers to these two questions are no, the product is still good.

Think about this: the expiration date was invented 50 years ago. Humankind has existed for 2.5 million years. Your senses are perfectly capable of recognizing a product gone bad. Trust us!

    I really like this version...I am not an expert on bagna cauda to go into detail but I love it because it is very balanced...I don't usually digest garlic well...which feels good...but it doesn't reoccur! So for me it's a great si👍🏻...too bad it can only be kept open in the fridge a few days....

    Arrived and tasted the same evening ...good really good and first quality ingredients but for our taste is not a food that is part of the daily ..in the evening we struggled then to digest it I think the garlic is heavy then certainly subjective for everyone
